One thing is certain, that kid is going to spend a lot of time watching Masha and the Bear, Booba and other Russian cartoons. You may not be a fan of that, but it is going to happen regardless.
First twelve months - plushy animals mostly, a lot of them, children of that age don't understand other toys
Twelve to twenty four months - first personal vehicle, some Turkish plastic manufacturer make excellent plastic tricycle, not sure if available in Poland, rest are crap imho and too expensive. About that time animals will come in play, plastic, rubber, in all shapes and sizes, also cars and trucks and rest of that shit. I know a lot about toys, toy manufacturers and can tell you most of modern toys are shit quality (no matter the brand, American so called manufacturer, German manufacturer, all shit and no better than Chinese or Turkish merchandise). Old toys cost a lot and need serious work to be suitable for kids.
That's on the toy front, standard stuff like you won't have time to sleep, eat, take a shit is mandatory, even if you have classic wife and paid nanny. Kids desire ALL THE ATTENTION and will do anything to get that.
At first they have to be carried, then want to do stuff on their own, finally they get up and start walking and just when you think they'll ask to walk by themselves they go back into baby mode and want to be carried again despite being perfectly capable of walking around. They have habits and are worse than adults, don't like when we break their habits. Taking milk bottle from them, taking things they like, toys they are attached to, will seem like mission impossible.
Another thing, people who brag about their baby soldiers who do everything they tell them to do are 100% full of shit. They boss you, not the other way around. If you want to mold them into soldiers when still young... well... first it is impossible to do that to one year old, second it will have terrible effect on children. They'll grow up to become Oberyn.
