Ok, idiot. Then imagine a poll.
Q#1 What ethnicity do you identify as?
Q#2 Do you consider yourself a US citizen, like it says on the papers, or would you rather go for a more broader term, like citizen of the world?
Question one is already fucking stupid. What if your mom is half native American, half foreigner and your dad is black-asian? What do you put? Or can you choose multiple?
Question two is even more retarded, because there is, once again, multiple ways to answer. Are you a pragmatic person, who will put US citizen. Are you a sovereign clown, who will put "of the world", are you an honest person, who considers themselves a US citizen, but will simply put "of the world" over that, as a symbolic thing, or are you just someone who puts what he wants, because idgaf?
Even if the data in and of itself was of any worth, accurate and complete, it's a self-identify poll. It is not relevant, in the form that it is.
Bring me a "Ethnic allegiance VS patriotism among US citizens" poll with 210 questions, where the participants don't know what the poll is and they aren't knowingly answering self-identifying questions and I might talk to you.
