Does anybody has a mighty Goedendag? I just want to know if anybody really heirloomed that weapon xD I'm not looking to get it or anything...  :mrgreen: or if anybody uses it as main weapon

You know, every time someone mentions this weapon I think I want to get one, since in singleplayer my weapon of choice was the "Spiked Staff" which is the same thing (without the knockdown/no horse tags).

If I remember correctly, the Spiked Staff in native was a 1/2-hander, but I don't think the Goedendag is.

Someone from my clan used this at least for a while, and every time he killed someone he would yell "Goudentag!" since somebody had mentioned they would do that as an insult or something when they hit someone. I dunno =p

Im wondering whye thatpointy stick is called an goedendag the goeie dag was an flail and it means good day in dutch, still love it that thers a dutch named wep ingame

Well, I found out that the Goedendag is indeed a 1/2H. Bought it last night and some armor to match!

the model is as it is in the picture too so it's all fine :)

but yeah I was using it for the lulz on siege so even with such weapon I was getting a decent positive K/D ratio (and I'm dedicated xbower xD) so yeah... Killing peasants/noobs with a "Good Day" is still awesome! :)
People under-estimate that weapon too much, in the right hands it can be really deadly!

My xbow/2h uses it, its length is deadly. ( and the kd is nice )
