Only geeks care about menial things like net neutrality. Real people were shopping at amazon.com for Black Friday which made Jeff Bezos richest man on Earth with slightly over 100 billion dollars net worth.
Besides, net neutrality just like public health and education is a commie thing, you damn pinko traitors.
Edit: I love how material centric USA is. Black Friday completely eclipsed your national holiday. No one cares about Thanksgiving anymore, what is important is that day tomorrow when you get to stay in line and buy heavily discounted wares.
Edit2: How to fight for free internet? Certainly not trying to fight big money interest by keeping current thing alive. We need replacement, user to user distributed solution. Not client-server architecture with service providers because that means power is centralized, in this case in hands of ISPs. With truly transparent distributed and simple yet secure solution, internet would become much better than it is today. No W3C bullshit either.
Edit3: if you are afraid what would become with exabytes or whatever the number is of data on internet, rest assured that all quality data would quickly be migrated to new system. I'm talking about stuff like Wikis, even *chans. What wouldn't migrate are business web presentations, all the damn spam sites and rest of slow moving crap. But quality info would migrate that's for sure. In early years of public internet, it was based in education centers which means 99% of data in early dates of internet was quality. With rising in popularity cruft started piling up, good stuff too but too many cruft. Another pro thing about distributed systems, there is no censorship. If user wants to connect to data you are hosting, there is no way to stop him. No centralized authority to say what can be hosted because there would be no dedicated hosting companies which would control internet.
