It's time a longer, pure stabbing variant 1h with long reach, decent speed, and ridiculous pierce damage was added to the game.

I'm thinking stab only with MAYBE a secondary mode for side/up attacks with minor cut or blunt damage (depending on rapier type). Just a longer Sai. Maybe even make it not usable with shield for balance AND historical purposes.

Stats:
Length: 105-110
Speed: 96-99
Damage: ~35p
Weight: 1.5

If only there were an animation for a 1h upswing that was just a stab in the up direction, much like how spears in With Fire and Sword/Napoleonic Wars has two stab directions, then this weapon could be a guisarme/english bill for 1h

That might be the one weapon that would make me switch from my beloved long espada.

maybe a another good 1h for swashbuckling with an emphasis on cutting damage rather than the balance between stabbing and swinging, but not without a stab (unlike the scimitars, per say)

Suggested stats and role in the 1h world:

length: 100-101
speed: 97-98
cut damage: 33
pierce damage: 24

These stats make it stronger and weaker in some ways relative to its closest competitors (elite scimi, knightly arming, nordic champs). It is a couple points shorter than the knightly arming and nordic champ,
 but retains the same 97 speed, making up for the lower length with slightly more cut damage. the elite scimi does the same cut damage while NOT having a stab attack, but retains an extra point of speed over the backsword, making it the better option for hilt slashing spammers ofc.

I actually had permission for one more helmet from Víkingr. It's called a Ridge helmet. It's apparently a late Roman era helmet that was still in use by various Celtic people in the Early Middle Ages. There are two versions of it.
