I see no reason for such hatred here on cRPG forumz, we are all equals here we all share the same joy and autism therefor we should focus our hatred into beam and aim at Talewords for tilting us constantly over the span of 5 years with Bannerlord and still not releasing it.

We're working on some pretty cool shit, but I can't say more at this point. In spirit (not in gameplay), it's much closer to cRPG.  :D

I tried playing that train wreck of a game today

Duel server had 5 players but like 50 bots

the bots would challenege you to a duel and it would go into duel mode unless you cancelled it with G

You are literally forced into duels LOL

Count me in. I never said it was a bad game, ever, I actually think OKAM back then was really fun and I enjoyed playing it. but I was just so let down by the unfulfilled promises, delay after delay, then followed by abandonment

They did the SAME EXACT thing with cRPG

Made something amazing, people played it, then they just let it rot, you can blame Warband becoming less popular all you want, but when effort was actually put into getting players back/staying back in winter/spring, the servers were so populated I thought it was 2010 again.

I simply can not trust chadz as a developer anymore. All he is good at, is making something great, then failing to maintain it. I hope he one day breaks this horrible habit.

Oh, well. It could be worse.

Switching from making cRPG as a hobby to developing a game full time was a bold step. Too bold, got hit hard by reality, failed in the end, probably due investor disagreement, silenced because of muh contracts. Personally I'd give him another chance because he is good at this one thing: making something great. Maybe the Chinese are good at maintaining it.

I went back into OKAM a couple days ago. While it is fun, pop is very low. Combat is still awkward but workable. A bit better but I still would prefer a M&B setup for combat.

Funny thing is, I took a few minutes practicing on the bots to just block along with a guy who volunteered to attack me so I could block and I was already declared "holy shit he can block". I even had a guy that was in a skirmish with me and roughly 5 others complain and asked if I could let them win so they could get the first win of the day.

Its not just me either. A few other people have come back and done very well blocking and attacking. I dunno. I honestly thought by now it'd be the tryhards left but I can easily top scoreboards or beat players there that seem to have played for a while.

There's still some tricks to the game like thrusts on 2h (much like warband) are pretty effective especially right after a swing if you drag it.

Its fun but.. bannerlord pls.

When a game fails, people like to start hating on every single aspect of it. I know there were always people who didnt enjoy it as much as warbands system, but it was fine and playable. Dont think i truly could appreciate warbands system untill i played it for a loong time.

Its fun to hate though, so i approve either way, but it doesnt stop me from being optimistic about the future of whatevers being developed here.
