i evacuated for hurricane ike and that was a mistake


my house is on top of the hill so i didnt get water in it luckily, but it started creeping up my yard and that was pretty stressing

Yeah, that shits messed up, we keep our porch light on and some lights around the house. And we have officers patrolling the neighborhoods occasionally. The curfew also helps.

I've stayed at my Aunt's for the past couple nights and my parents are at home, there really isn't any smell because they've had the AC cranked way down.

How are they staying there? Seems like the first floor is flooded pretty high.

All the water went out of the house about 8 hours after it all started, which was Sunday morning
