China's not even going to start following the Paris Accord until 2030 at the earliest.
True - they already try to go below the limits way earlier by themselves.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

Do any of the leaders condemning Trump actually care about the letter of the agreement?

Or do they care more that one previously friendly superpower symbolically wont 'play ball' whilst another previously not-well-loved superpower appears to be saying all the right things and extending an olive branch? That seems to be what this is about, PR back home and with the neighbours.
But it's not symbolic, US was paying massive amounts of money so politicians in third world countries could buy limousines and private jets.

I think we are at the next step in the evolution of the climate change denial doctrine. It went from "There is no change!" over "There is a change but it's not men-made!" to now "Anthroposophic climate change might be real but there are too many assholes around to do anything anyway. Let's just deal with it. CO2 is good for plants, you know.". Sadly that will probably be the common stance now with the US leaving. Every country for itself. Climate change winners gonna win. Losers get fucked. Better think twice before buying that beach house.

It will probably be remembered as one of the greatest crimes of the 21th century. Right after white genocide of course, Xant.

i'm just trying to find arguments why fighting the climate changes (even if they wouldn't be that much affected by manking) is a bad thing. in the worst case it will speed up the technical revolution, in the best case it can make our planet great again, lul.

It costs money. And why would you want to stop the warmth? Growing pineapples in Germany is going to bring in a lot of profits.

Pineapples are literally satan.

Have you ever eaten pineapples till every part of your mouth bleeds? And then kept eating the increasingly blood-red pineapples until there were no pineapples?
No, I don't eat pineapples, and yes, I know they're deadly. That's why I'm happy they're going to grow in Germany.

this dude grows bananas in the Rockies using human body heat and solar thermal design... I'm sure you can grow your German Pineaples and we wont have to read about mass graves being dug in equator nations.

Oh sure they're sweet and make your semen more palatable in small volumes,

But once you open up your borders and let in an excess of pineapples it always ends bloody.

All of that sounds awesome to me. The Greeks have 90% arab DNA, they yearn for the desert.
