Hey folks,

Finished up the launcher! It should be functioning at the same level it was before it broke and it actually has WSE2 as well (Big thanks to Lemon and Marcus and anyone else I forgot to mention!). Going to take a look at getting those servers up and running tomorrow but in the mean time, feel free to play on the Chinese server.

If there are any bugs with the launcher post on the discord, the cRPG Technical Problems forum, or PM me (Forum or Discord). There is a known bug where if you have an older version of WSE2 and try to launch the game it will fail. You can bypass this for right now by doing a clean install of Warband and then the running the launcher with WSE2 enabled. I should have a permanent fix for this Soon™.

You are going to need to redownload the launcher unfortunately. Haven't quite figured out how the launcher updates itself yet. (Kinda pissing me off actually)

Had to upgrade the launcher from an older version of c# to a newer one most likely caused that. We don't have access to their compiled version of WSE2 so I had to improvise and needed some newer libraries. Sorry about that!

I don't play modern video games, but I have too many useful programs installed on my hard drive, so I don't want to lose them, and don't want to lose too much time sitting in front of PC for 2-3 days straight installing everything back in order to know how many people actually returned to this game. Will probably switch to Win 7 anyway when the Bannerlord comes out (if I'll find time to play video games again).

If I get access to the dev teams old dropbox I can make it work for windows XP again. So all is not lost

Nice I will get this installed when I am home today. Is it still only the china server we are able to play on?

Yep, don't have all the needed files or I just haven't figured out how to get the files to work to get a server up. Maybe one day the right files will appear.
