Yeah that is pretty reasonable. Realistically it is too late for Europe I agree that at this point stopping immigration would not have much effect.

It could however stop some amount of terrorists from getting in and attacking people. Whether worth the cost of the other negative effects who knows. Worth the cost if the people that would have been stopped kill or maim you or your friends/family.

Well closing the borders wont stop attacks from happening since there are already potentially a lot of bad apples inside, but it could stop escalation of terror attacks. At least in sweden we have rather poor control, people are let in before any background checks, and they are not watched at all when being investigated here so they could just run away and do whatever they want. Shoving the issue onto another country may fuck that country up i suppose, but at least for sweden i dont think we can handle the pace we are going (i believe it has slowed down though thankfully).
