well thats a bummer

if you have some knowledge in eqing, proper usage of filters etc etc you can make decent sound even  with vst synths, drum mashines......
im not that good in mastering but almost 20 years in music production learn me how to make proper track mixdown.

VSTs are nice and I will use them to layer onto hardware for existing things, but there is just something nice about having every knob and slider etc. I am aware you can get controllers for that, but I just like hardware now that I am getting into it.

Yeah you're not wrong. I use VST's alot aswell, alot more than my hardware atm but clicking around with your mouse doesn't come even close to the feeling of actually having something you can tweak with your fingers. Afterall for me making music isn't that much about whether the mix is good. It's more about the enjoyment that I get from making it and for me staring a screen doesn't provide it as well as jamming with my gear.

Speaking of forgetting. I just found my now hidden bookmark folder with multiple crpg links. The Build maker with damage values, the armour viewer. Tournament brackets. Also a manual for EU4 in a folder for some reason. Good times.

you are right aswell. i have 3 controlers because i hate to do with keyboard and mouse ;)
well same as for me the mood of track is in 1st place, but i really hate bad quality tracks. i just simply enjoy in good produced track with great mood which can drive me thru other dimensions :D especially if its melancolic :)))
