Now this is what i was waiting for, and pc confirmed? Hell yes. 3d fighting games need more air, and since soul calibur is fucked since a while, tekken is the only one to shed some light.

I'm so hype for T7. You got DOA5 on steam though but that port is a joke. Didn't get online  after over a year and graphics are worse than on console :D

I just said those two aren't alike and that M&B is better. Then some other dude said I'm full of shit. Was accused of being loser who plays cRPG and they basically said M&B is low budget crap. You know, typical gamers who value only AAA games. Then I had to attack first dude and ridicule his choice of games, he mainly plays Rust so I made fun of survival genre. Typical gaming chatter, nothing special

For Honor seems more like mechanics along the lines of Dynasty Warriors than anything like M&B.

It's all subjective. But IMO, better graphics and while I like some SF fighters, overall Tekken got cooler fighters. Otherwise it's hard to compare the two.

Tekken has completely different pace of combat, moves are generally slower, with more "weight" behind them. Less fireball throwing as well.

Clay fighters 5 is pretty wack, the artstyle is weird, i like watching tournaments of it at times but other than that none of the characters appeal to me while in tekken theres just a ton of cool characters to choose from.

So whats better about Tekken compared to SF?

I think Tekken has a steeper learning curve, much bigger movesets on every character although ive heard tekken 7 will be a bit better for new players. Tekken is very balanced for having such varieties in characters and such big amounts of movesets. It is very combo based, lots of launchers to look out for, if you whiff an attack you may get launched for a ton of damage combos easily. No ranged spam. And of course its 3d, so theres the sidestepping to dodge moves, which can be punished with homing moves that track sideways etc, another layer of footwork i guess.

Tekken 5 and 5DR are so sick, definitely my favourites. I played quite a bit of tag 2 though, but tagging is just 2 deep. Not just knowing one, but 2 characters, knowing their combos well and being able to tag combo with them properly got me pissed off and bored. Also it has so many characters its hard to really know any matchup as a scrub.

I just hope T7 adds more of my favourites, still missing roger jr (people hate him for some reason) and Lei wulong, i was hoping i could start learning to play him in T7. Such an awesome character, its just like playing jackie chan in a fighting game.

I prefer Soulcalibur but that ain't PC game and last few games in series were pretty average. Bit like Tekken, but faster and animations are more fluid. Adds melee weapons to the mix and has more interesting characters. Voldo is most distinctive fighter in the series.

They do need some black characters tbh, Bruce and Raven are both really cool.

Yeah, maybe if they attempt another release it will also come to pc. I regularly watch a stream of a guy who was top tier Soulcalibur 2 player, and he mains Voldo. So fun to watch him play because its such a weird character.
