Hideyoshi told me to try an xbow at the beginning and shoot stuff. Siege mode, I was on attacker side, I camped behind a siege shield and tried to shoot somebody. After sorta 20-30 mins, I finally hit one guy and it felt amazing. Cav was my main fear since they were so fast and deadly.
after that I had some intense duel server training with hideyoshi, schmacko and taimic for a couple of weeks on the nditions server. We lateron played Persistant World until sorta a month later we tried out cRPG. Didn´t touch a ranged weapon for the next 1 1/2 years (bardiche was my first favourite weapon), until I was finally fed up getting shot by ranged as 2h/lance cav without shield. Thus, "Bowbimbo" was born, who turned into CrossBowbimbo a couple of weeks later...
