Reporting big ping fluctuations

Yesterday my ping was going into 500+ quite often, I had periods of unplayable lag, this morning I saw some people with the same problem.
This could be to do with the servers moving, or could be on our end, but I usually don't have bad lags that keep happening.
Otherwise the new servers work well when I low ping, just the banner problem.

In the evenings and mornings, I get ice skating horses, no running animations and other laggy features, while my ping stays the same as during the day (~70). Occasionally 500+ ping too, but it's relatively rare. I thought the problem might be on my end, but I don't get this wtih other games.

The ping is fine when browsing servers, but right after joining, it jumps to around 300 and rarely drops below 150. Other players seem to not have this issue, but then again, I only get bad lags in cRPG.
