It took me longer than I'd like to admit that everyone was on about Early Access rather than Electronic Arts.

That company is dead to me. Don't buy their games, don't watch reviews of those games, do not care about anything they do at all.

Therefore, EA stands for Early Access.

That game has one quality. You can use mouse as controller which allows for two people to play on same computer without the need for gamepad. Everything else is meh, compared to best football of that time which was on consoles (International Superstar Soccer Pro known as Winning Eleven in Japan).

Well EA lost their community an all their greates games.
Their products are good pieces yes. But when there are some bugs around better don't hope they will do something about.
If you liked Battlefield row started with 1942, desert combat, and later on battlefield 2. These were awesome games by dice.
These Games were played for ages - while CoD already run off in their DLC junk concept.
Later on - Dickslash BF3 announced "Premium" which is something like their old addons just cut in pieces so some players buy single DLC content for expansive share.
Sorry but EA is like Activision just a bunch of shitheads. I'm not the richest and often have to wait about half an year to buy an just released game, but what do I want it when there is the next of the row just 3 months away?

BF1942, BF Vietnam and BF2 are games that were already made or largely finished before EA started interfering. BF1942 is evolution of original concept then unknown Swedish developer Refraction Games presented in game called Codename Eagle. It was unique game of that time, when most shooters were set in fantasy or sci-fi environments. There were few realistic shooters but none of them allowed free use of vehicles and vehicular combat on large multiplayer maps with then big number of players. Later Refraction Games merged with DICE and created BF1942.

Imagine OKaM being successful, receiving cult following because it is such unique game that allows players to experience things they couldn't before. Big publisher buys them out and they make big title set in popular universe. It is huge success but from that point things go downfall and IP is being abused next few years. That's what happened to Battlefield and Call of Duty.

To be honest, I'm not very trustworthy of buying ANY game, which is why I primarily like to buy games which I can try out before I purchase, to get a feel for it. If this game had some sort of trial feature, to let me see what the game would be like, I would be more than willing to participate, and if I liked it, buy the game. Other than that however, I can't personally see myself buying it due to Bannerlords being released whenever, thus it seems like the safer pick to me.

I actually paid for two copies of the game ($130/100 Euros then) with then intention of gifting the second copy to Frank the Tank. Sadly Frank left the cRPG community not long after that. Now it looks like I'll be multiaccounting my way to dominance long before EA release to the rest of the world.
