Location wise it would make little sense to move it really, since it already pretty much is in the heart of Europe.
Just provider wise it might make sense.
For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.

Dealing with the server hosting game is so annoying. (Especially when you live in Cold Lake, AB -- Mid North West Canada)

I've rented from quite a few server hosts all across the US in the past.  Server setups for Battlefield, Counterstrike and the Arma series.
Usually companies provide you with all the scripts, mods etc.. framework for them or you can google add more, it is fukin e-mazin on chadz for figuring out all his own code for us, he's probably had to create quite a few beauties we couldn't fathom.

As most everyone knows having the best ping doesn't guarantee best connection sadly.  A lot of server farms are overloaded, and some hubs are just trash depending on where your routing through/from.  Just can't please everyone, for shame.

Even though Texas gives me mid 70 ping, instead of the low 50 I get in Illinois, I've always found the connection to Texas in the aforementioned games I've dealt with to be more fluid, even with diff. providers(I used to opt for cheaper options).

I feel like the internet traffic in N.Y. and CHI was typically a lot more congested back then.  But its been a couple years and the FARMs are spreading.    :P
At any rate, thanks most graciously mighty lord chadz, I'm sure it will be a great improvement that all of us will enjoy... HUZZAW!

For the new game we will (hopeuflly :)) have the population to have servers east and west, but with the current cRPG population it doesn't make much sense, so it has to be one

I thought the internet in Europe was just a bunch of oily strings with paper cups attached to them???

In some countries yeah, it's true.

Luckily Portugal has pretty decent/good structures and services. One of the few good things about this country (and it's a thin list).

It's quite funny actually, because countries that joined the net later have better internet. For example in Ukraine (Where I am) Internet is really good and cheap accross the board.

PS: But with my luck I have to bear with a TV based internet, the only house IN THE ENTIRE DISTRICT to not have fiber cables. And they are not even planning to :/
