It's a dank new gamemode that further deepens the cRPG addiction! It can be played with the current maps, or specialized double siege maps for even more fun!
Here are the wules:
1. The first round is played like a normal Battle.
2. Each next round, the top player from each team becomes the Virgin.
3. The goal is to kill the enemy Virgin and protect yours. Killing the enemy Virgin results in instant victory.
And that's about it. The "double siege" maps are maps with 2 castles, or forts, or whatever. In each team, one party would have to storm the enemy's castle, and the other party would stay to protect the Virgin. Or do an all-out attack, or all-in defense, or some other funky fresh move. Lots of tactics and different ways to play, lots of fun. The gamemode would strongly encourage teamwork and proper roles in the battle, no more 2h heroes wandering off and getting killed on their own. Shield walls would become a viable tactic to protect the Virgin from missiles. Blobs of infantry would get even stronger and more pronounced. Archers flanking around, ninjas sneaking behind, cavalry charging through, and all other kinds of fun things would appear and refresh the game. Also it would be resistant to the flag bug, since flag would no longer be the goal. Delaying the game with a fast running character would no longer be the problem either - such chars are very unlikely to get to the top of the scoreboard anyway. Another advantage over the standard Battle is that there would be a lot more drama and blaming - something cRPG community loves to do.
Here are some questions for discussion:
Should flags appear throughout the whole game, or just in the first round?
Should the Virgin have a marker or something that would make them recognizable for the enemy team?
Should the Virgin have any special properties, like increased health or health regen?
Should multiple Virgins be allowed?
