Skipping the usual ban thread format because this is a very unusual case. I don't have a list for everyone banned but I'm sure Desire made a list to keep track of her kill count lol.

Personally, throwing around racial epithets and joining in on general chat stupidity isn't my cup of tea, but I do prefer it when c-RPG actually has players.

I think it is cute that you think I was wounded by this in some way? I was simply enforcing the rules and you all decided to go off the deep end. People get punished for it that simple. When mutes clearly didn't work its time to ban.

For the record the only thing that pissed me off for a very brief amount of time. In any way was when Artyem violated the rules himself and he is supposed to be an admin. Hence why he has received full punishment like any other player that had decided to transgress the rules during that strategus battle.

If I was going to ban you I would have already in the strategus battle but your personal insults/ private chat to admins means literally nothing and has no effect nor is it against the rules.

I approved of it temporarily waiting for a response from Dupre, Artyem agreed he deserved no special treatment for being an admin and has requested full duration of the punishment provided that he deserves.

Serious question here Desire- does writing anything in chat (Other than things like 'I will find you and kill you irl etc) justify any kind of ban?

Mute whoever offends you, as an admin you can even serverwide mute said person.

IF you are severely offended, you can always turn your own chat off.

Banning anyone in this already lightly populated mod because of writing friend in chat is over the top.

For two, banning people when a mute solves the problem in an already almost dead mod is bad logic.

You all put me in an impossible situation, that left no real choices to work with. I don't know exactly what you all expected to happen here?

This is the deal though. Everyone that was involved in this gets a 2-day ban with the exception of Mcdeath due to his extensive ban history

The catch is though if anything like this happens again in the future they will wipe your characters to anyone that decides to get involved.

In 2 days time I will lift the bans on everyone then Mcdeath whenever on an undecided date.

I applaud you for having a hard stance on serious issues nightingale. however:  internet + game = cmon

its questionable that bans are the right answer to chat abuse.  I postulate that common sense is above any strict rule,  and would suggest that chat abuse is not a reason to ban, because the motives of the offenders are not in line with the ban reason.
