We need to have our current people working on the mod to have full access.

http://forum.melee.org/strategus-issues/stuck-on-map/

2 months stuck on the map with what I am sure is a simple button press to a dev, yet I am unable to be helped because the current people able to do so just do not give a fuck.

Seriously, just give them full powers already.

did you ever end up trying Calamari's fix?

I'm going to need the header "Strat Advisor" given my vast knowledge of bugs and fixes. IE Strat 5 gold duping/Na good buying while in EU ect ect.

Here is what you do;
Step one: Make a skip the fun your strat main
Step two: after it transfers; Delete that character.
Step three: Click strat tab and restart with a new character.

seems like that would work.

but yeah i still agree with you

Just curious but someone posted the idea to change your strat hero to a completely new STF, then delete this character so you get removed from strat. And then join strat again to respawn.

^ meh, need to write quicker.
Maybe if Coronoa virus gets rid of 50 percent or more of the world population we can do without a pope and religion.

Agreed, you guys are working on your own game now, so we understand that you have less time for cRPG. But give the current devs full powers at least, there are some seriously game breaking bugs on the strat map and on some city siege maps...
Blackbow is a bad admin,he once told me sandfriend It broked all my desire from the game/forums,i felt devastated, horrible don't know how to fix it.

Dupre was given the Overlord powers already a couple days ago, so I believe he holds full power over the mod now. He fixed admin rights of a couple of people, gave forum titles etc. So not exactly what you had in mind, but things are progressing forward. Rico is M.I.A for a couple of days, but he'll be back in a few, and will continue working.

I (used to) manage character issues, reverting, restoring and fixing related mistakes and some other stuff. Feel free to message if you encounter a problem.
He's not the hero DTV deserves but he's the one they need.

Dupre was given overlord status on the forums to allow him to do forum things that doesn't necessarily mean he is in full control. We are still waiting on chadz to do a few things before we can fix the launcher or fix Raylin's patch.

Rico is busy irl atm and will be back very soon (12-15th of April) and we are both stuck at the moment neither of us can do anything till chadz fixes some stuff.

I think we all would gladly wait a few days more for M:BG if onlz chadz would take a few hours to sort all those powers out so people can actually do something about all those bugs and shit.
For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.

Well you nail it.. We can wait some days more, the questin is are they still allowed to spend their working time like they want to, since they got someone in background who seems to pay more than enough for a small studio + benefits an stuff..

They have several commitments regarding to melee:bg so I guess they would like to spend some hours on the old mod but the new game has to be a successor
