when should we expect to see progress
Meh. Three months for a first draft. Revise/edit x2 for maybe a month. Then wait long enough that I forget what exactly I wrote about so I get a sort of impartial, final edit before forward final draft to agent who'll forward to editor--both will make recommendations so another edit. Then final draft then published copy.
In short: few months till first drafts, then like a year till final publish. Mod should be dead by then I hope.
This, depending on how the army treats me work-wise. Nurses get all sorts of days off so should go quick.
