Yeah you changed the subject. The original subject was you saying that welterweight is not a division Conor fights in and my asking you "when does it become a division conor fights in?".
In all your posts since you have failed to answer the question or explain any sort of valid argument of why you think the division in which Conor just fought in, and a division he plans to fight in later in future matches, is a division he does not fight in.

Another thing Conor badly needs is level changes in his spinning kicks. 100% high ones are way too easy to block. Thigh level spinning kicks would make the high ones harder to block due to threat of lower kicks, and the thigh kicks are harder to block anyway while usually doing more damage.

I think you just argue for the sake of arguing, not because you actually believe in your own arguments.

There are plenty of ways to beat a Diaz. Leg kicks are just the obvious weakness. Nate even got tooled on the ground in round 1 by Conor.

Maybe, it sounded like he was implying Diaz was heavier than him in one of the things he said, but I guess it could be either way. Diaz brothers are known for their good chins, so it really shouldn't have come as a surprise.

Either way, Conor is the most entertaining fighter in the UFC right now, with his agile always-finishing fighting style. He needs to fix the holes in his games, biggest of which are: lack of jab, lack of lead hook, lack of orthodox stance even when in trouble, lack of Muay Thai style leg kicks, and his tendency to block shots with his chin. Regardless of what some people say, it has yet to be proven that ground is a problem for him.

Ok so one fight = fought in that division
multiple fights even if "HE ISNT FIGHTING RIGHT NOW..." = he fights in that division

When McGregor does another fight in welterweight will it then switch to "he fights in that division"? Or does it take more than 2 bouts to be considered regularly?


What about a new up and coming MMA fighter who only has done one pro fight in, lets say, lightweight.
So would we say "He doesn't fight in lightweight division... He FOUGHT in lightweight division because it was only one round and not multiple rounds regularly.

When saying "he fights in welterweight" It's making the assumption that he has fought there in the past and he plans to in the future. Just the same as saying he fights in featherweight. It's not dependent on how regularly he does it and dependant on the definition of regularly. It's dependent on if he is going to fight in that division in the future. If Connor says he will fight in welterweight and he has fought in welterweight in the past then saying he fights in welterweight is completely valid.

Conor would not have fought someone who actually fights in the welterweight division. He is not big enough yet. It is not a division he fights in, the fight was made at 170 because Nate could not start cutting soon enough. I'm not sure how much simpler I can make this for Sir_Simpleton. Having one fight at 170 because your fellow lightweight fighter can't make the cut because of short notice doesn't make you a welterweight fighter. It doesn't mean you fight in the welterweight division. It means you have one fight, because of special circumstances, at 170 lbs, against someone who is not welterweight either. He does not weigh as much as people in the welterweight division do.

As for your retarded question, an "up and coming fighter" with one fight in the LW division would be a LW fighter, because it's the division he fights it, it's how much he weighs at weigh in nights, and it's the division he's going to be fighting in.

The thing is though assuming you take conor's words as truth, its not a one time thing.
He stated his plans to do more fights in welterweight and he is completely open to exploring heavier weight divisions.

You say "hes not big enough yet" "he does not weight as much as people in welterweight division do". but he came in at 168 in the weigh ins.

The thing is you used the reasoning that "1 fight in a division he does not fight in." as a valid reason for his loss but mcgregors own words

Him saying that he might do it is not the same as him doing it. Dozens of fighters have talked about moving to upper weightclasses and not done it. And more importantly, note the difference between "has", "is" and "will."

He is going up to lightweight, he has been fighting as a featherweight in the UFC.
