Late to the party, but this is gay AF. We're so big now that it'd be retarded if we didn't win. We went from bringing fun strat back to ruining it, in the course of like a month.

This is hilarious! I'm having fun being at war with the Gobblins, and we're getting ready to start making the map into the Dwarven empire! Soon it'll be as much gold as it is black! Fight back people, make war interesting again!

Obviously James is just scheming to undermine the Gobblins. He plans to increase the amount of Acre fiefs by joining Gobblins, more support = more battles won = more fiefs for acre. Then he will break free from the Gobblins, forming into acre once more. Except James will emerge with half of the Gobblin fiefs under his control and mercenary superiority (as per usual), then a great civil war will be waged. Eventually causing a schism between occitan and frisia, as the other side tries to absorb the other.
Sensing weakness in the empire, Yoshi will wage increasing warfare and thus take over the other half of the strat map. I will then have King James' babies and make an alliance between the two great halves of the strat map: The Yoshi Caliphate of the Desert, Steppes, and everything inbetween; and the Kingdom of Acre, rulers of the west and other spare bits.

I mean, idealistically.

The problem with that plan is that more people sign up against the GOBBLINS than anyone else haha.

From a logical perspective if you step aside and look at this rationally instead of as a reactionary nerd, all that's happened is a move of 6 or 7 players (gasp! The whole map is broken now! 6 PLAYERS MOVED?!) from a noncombatant faction to the most warlike faction, immediately followed by a declaration of war between the two biggest factions on the map, in the process spurring 10 pages of shitposts.

Why am I supposed to be unhappy about any of those things?

James is the only one receiving flak for joining the gobs, while many an anon did the exact same thing. The last ones to do it are always the guiltiest, but still. He had the bravery to do it in the open and create an opportunity for everyone to post about it, props to him for giving us drama.

I am also eagerly waiting for a thread where either UIF or the gobs themselves officially announce that they are trading and merc supporting each others, further increasing the gap between the big dogs and the small fries, but this time world wide. I am sure it would get many a +1
