I believe not even you understand what you wrote there so I'll just let it slide
Here is the simpleton's version for you.  You are a typical hypocrite that enthusiastically partakes of American culture while complaining about it.  Secondly if you depend on Hollywood for your information about the US you are sadly misinformed.

Yes, I actually predicted the sarcasm as well, but claiming that before the fact would have resulted in a different reaction.

Meah, oscar - shmoscar, once you've seen one - you've seen them all.
IMDB rating is what matters practically.

With over 50.000 ratings this applies:
Above 8 - It will be very watchable. No "buts" or "ifs" - fuckin' watch and enjoy.
6-7 is something that is not for everyone, but some will find it very good, while some will find it rather boring.
0-5 is garbage. Only a few nerds and hardcore fans will truly like it.

First Oscars I've ever really watched and probably last, wife was sick, nothing else was on so fuck it, I like movies after all. Secondly the likes of you certainly don't help the US image.

But good to know you know everything, enlighten me more sensei!
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

Dont feel too bad Christo, it is common for inferior nations media to feel eternal pride for such minor things. How do you think I feel? My country is even more inferior. We went apeshit just to get a nominaton. And we go apeshit for even lesser things. Like...the cameraman was an estonian...or the floor that was shown in the trailer was waxed by an estonian janitor. My faces default emotion is cringe.

Wait a sec... there's Tibe from Latvia and Tibes from Estonia!?

Agreed except the above 8 category. While 80% of them are really good in one or another way some are still dull as fuck in general.

Why did you think I was a latvian? However estonians do share some similarities to their sixtoed southern brothers and to those less popular lithuanian germanmade cartheifs.

What is this Leo stuff? For a long time Leonardo di Caprio was just some mediocre actor in mediocre movies, then suddenly he comes out of fucking nowhere and grabs an oscar. Everyone claims they have always loved him, praised him, supported him, and even nicknamed him "Leo". Did I miss something, or is this just some ruse for an upcoming movie starring LEO ?

Leo's best role was when he played cRPG player in What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
