If Conor wins he'll be a phenom, if he loses it's understandable due to the jump of two weight classes on extremely short notice.  Meanwhile he makes huge (for mma) money.  Even if he loses, he wins.

If Conor wins (which he will due to bribed judges) it will make no difference. Nate Diaz isn't the top of the top of the MMA world. A win over Nate doesn't make you the GOAT.

That's the 420 lazy fighting style. He like his brother Nick throws volume. Pretty weaker than normal punches but many of them to overwhelm you and slip in some heavier ones once in a while, whilst he trashtalks you inside the cage to get you frustrated.

He would have fought Frankie but Frankie was injured. Everyone's injured when it's time to fight McGregor. He had 66% takedown defense against Chad Mendes (an elite level wrestler with the best double leg in UFC) and Conor's knee was fucked up in that fight and leading up to it, so he couldn't train properly. Mendes got gassed because of the bodyshots and pressure Conor was putting on him. None of the people you mentioned have the wrestling pedigree of Mendes, who, again, Conor had 66% takedown defense against -- and when he did get taken down, Mendes couldn't get anything done. When he tried, Conor got back up.
