Good starting position? You guys managed to break the one thing that wasnt broken, and failed to fix the broken stuff.
And killing the mod even more, by making it tricky to log in for casuals... that dont visit the forum for workarounds.
Reverting back to a patch were people also complained about ranged dmg etc etc. I think the problem is too many items making it too hard to balance the game + People will always say their main class needs a buff, and their counter a nerf + Sperg lords + Even with RNG ranged will still occasionally make headshots across the map, wich will result in crying again.
But at this rate CRPG will have to few players to even be worth trying to fix.
Kind of what Imisshotmail is talking about.
These patches are mostly based on players making a new class.. playing it for a week without mastering it.. or at least understanding it. Then come here on the forums to complain about how weak they are.
And players that have been playing the same class for years, are pretty not taken serious at all and called elitists. Even when old balancers come back trying to help out by offering input, they simply get put aside.... because they challenge the circle jerk.
But pretty much al good and popular games, are balanced by data created by the top elite minority, take LoL for instance. But yet CRPG value's tears and buttkiss upvotes over skill, when it comes to balancing.
Your patch is done the wrong way and you know it.
