What are some armors that would fit into a byzantine character?

Any one with a greek name shoehorned in (e.g.: Katafraktos, Pronoiarios, Klibanophoros, Varangos, Arhon, Skutatos, Peltastos). One exception would be the Palace Guard armor, but, then again, considering the multicultural military and culture of the Byzantine Empire (especially in it's infancy), you could use pretty much anything vaguely nordic, arabic, slavic, and/or iberian to fit the bill. Of course, there are also designated weapons that go hand-in-hand with the specific armors (Spathion, Paramerion, Spathovaklion).
