You are totaly wrong on this point, probably a "placebo" effect  :wink:

It's exactly the same system as the flamberge. I can put 1h, 2h, pole or even throw animation and it still gonna use the 1h wpf. There is no link between the animations used and the wpf "style" applied. I can make a 1h with 2h animation or a pole with 2h animation, there is no problem with this.

The only problem with the long Jian atm is the impossibility to use it with a shield (and tbh, I don't see it as a problem).

You don't see a 1h weapon listed in the 1h shop being unable to use left swing and overhead with a shield as a problem?  As someone who uses 1h wpf and a shield and invested 3 loompoints into the weapon thinking the stats were great, I'd say it's a huge problem for me. 

Maybe you should try to add a disclaimer to the weapon so people realize it's not fully useable with a shield, unlike any other 1h sword.

Ok I agree with you that 1h weapons should be usable with shield, but complaining about your lost LP is completely out of place if you didn't try the weapon before looming it.

Please fix long Jian, either make it a 2h or a 1h, or change with X. This twohand leftswing and uphead (and not being able to use those swings with shield) really sucks  (especially since I put 3 lps in it)
Your binary primitive low capacity of thinking is not relevant.

Ok I agree with you that 1h weapons should be usable with shield, but complaining about your lost LP is completely out of place if you didn't try the weapon before looming it.

I was looking at the site for a 1h sword to masterwork (I was tired of my knightly arming sword, wanted something longer and more damaging at the expense of stab strength) and stumbled on the long jian's stats.

I bought the weapon, equipped it and took a swing or two with my shield and it seemed fine (apparently not a left swing or overhead).  So I masterworked it.  Then when I started using it more (I'm lancer cav, so typically not on foot with 1h/shield) that it was not able to left swing or overhead with a shield.

Would be nice if you could toggle to just use 1h animations so it's useable with a shield.  Or even better, if items on the website shop allowed developers to add a note when they have some quirky things that you'd not expect (like I would never expect this from a 1h sword).

The Long Jian was also a nice 1h cav sword, but actually it only has the stab animation on horse.
I don't mind it having 1h and 2h attack directions, makes it quite special after it's fixed, but those who loomed it before those changes might actually get it exchanged if they want, that's just fair.

Sounds more like constructive criticism, than complaining.  But I might feel differently if things I worked on were being judged critically.  I'm anxiously awaiting the next update

Yes well, just reminding of things. Like Danish Two Handed and German Bastard Sword still didn't have 2nd polearm mode.
Never sure if that's noticed cause my casual chat with Dupre is quite sluggish.

Since nobody "in charge" gives a fuck to even say something about the friken update bug i will ask someone kind enough to upload their cRPG folder (unmodded preferably) so ppl who cant dl the patch using cRPG laucher could play.
