Let's say that my ping was high (constantly floating from 88 to 97 for some reason, instead of normal ≈60), you can see it on the result screen. The day before it was 74, and 2 days before it was normal. Second, since I don't play EU1 regularly I was not aware that Cheapknight is kind of good player actually. It turned out that fukken Shitnick, who is my teammate, actually knew about
this shit, showing Cheapknight in the finals in both EU and NA brackets, but he told me about it only after the battle
. My bad, should have checked such stuff by myself. So, because of that, I expected that our opponents would be some random guys, and for the first two rounds I took katana (yea, zero reach weapon vs 2 polearmers, such smartness on my side
) and tried to spam. So, when I realised that these knight dudes can actually fight, it was basically done. We won one round after that, but in next one I missed a block somehow, and it was all over. In best of 7 we still had all the chanses, I believe, but rules are rules, and all I can do now is cry a while
