Added a lot of items today, I really like them but dont want to use, because I have no heirloom points.

As you can see, CRPG this game, the player is less and less. Why? Once a week, RESPEC, we changed the Character, but cant have the corresponding +3 items. This is a very painful thing. Look at the market now, almost no one. Gold is more and more useless. Old +3 items is being rusty in the warehouse. Yes, heirloom items can be reforged, but who would like to switch to 2 points? This function becomes not essential. So can we do this?

+3 heirloom item + A lot of gold = 3 heirloom points
The number of gold can be discussed, I think not less than 300K.

Benefit:
1.We have enough looms to be used in the new items.
2.Consume a lot of cheap gold, gold back to the normal value.
3.Have enough looms to sell in the market.
4.Prosperous market.
5.New and old players are getting the benefits, the battlefield has a new life.

Rules (to be discussed):
1.New reforge: +3 heirloom item + 300K gold (more or less) = 3 points
2.Time limit: once a week
3.Only allowed +3 heirloom items

You can already destroy +3 items and get 2 LPs back. That's quite a change compared to the time where Danish Greatswords +3 sold for little more than 1 LP. However, there is no evidence whether, and if so, in what way this change has incentivized players to play more. The argument that they could reuse some of the loompoints they committed to the former overloomed items such as Danish Greatsword +3, Long Espada Eslavona +3 and Crossbow +3 and finally enjoy cRPG again is no more or less convincing than the counter point that nobody is interested in playing cRPG if all long-term rewards are removed.

If you get everything you want for free in cRPG, it's basically just Native with a lower population. Looms aren't only great because of their stats, but first and foremost because they reflect and remind you of all the work you have put into them while having a great time in a game you like.

So what's next?
We try to stabilize the market by adjusting gold rates. More player activity after the start of the next Strategus round on Sunday will also increase the number transactions between players. These measures take priority before artificial ones such as additional reforge options.

But to get started on the market again, 1 exchange per account would bring the new items on the market and ppl (maybe) would start to trade a bit more.

its a fantastic idea. i want to loom a new armor, but i dont wanna reforge my mw items for 2 loompoints, i got 2 million golds, if i go buy myself a lp i would lose all my gold.  also they should give everyone a free heirloom exchange to be used for once since they added new items.

Retirement and LEVEL, this is the difference between CRPG and NATIVE. I think this is the most successful two aspects of CRPG. But Retirement from 31 to 35, the revision of level is a failure in my opinion. Since then, the number of players has started to decrease.

OK, let's talk about heirloom. People have a lot of old heirloom-items in their hands, and they have a lot of gold. But what they want is just loompoint, for the new items. Look at the market, no one to sell, cant afford to buy, no one in the trade!! Oh, yes, go to retirement, then it's a long wait. Who would like to wait? Retirement and FREE Respec would have been a bit self contradictory, and now very few people are playing. All we need to do is save, save the dying MOD soon. Think about it. This is the last chance.

That's a temporal, not necessarily a causal relationship. It's difficult to tell if a temporal relationship is also a causal relationship, and that's causing a lot of headache.

OK, let's talk about heirloom. People have a lot of old heirloom-items in their hands, and they have a lot of gold. But what they want is just loompoint, for the new items.
That's why a loompoint is always strictly more expensive than a heirloomed item. Even if the whole community agreed that a certain item is objectively the best one, and it is the rational choice to spend your first loompoints on it, a loompoint will stay more expensive than that item because the loompoint retains the potential to be spent elsewhere. That's a value proposition you can't take away from a loompoint. The market is best at approximating the monetary equivalent of this benefit, and we can't hope to get a better approximation if we regulate the market with no more than an educated guess.

Transaction costs in cRPG are minimal compared to the real world, so there is no justification to introduce artificial pricing.
