Right now all the new players receive the current non tradeable items :

A +3 Tunic over mail (random colour)
A +3 Long Arming Sword
A +3 Two handed sword
and
A +3 War spear


What I want to suggest is this, instead of giving them 4 MW items that they may never use (and lets not kid ourselves, apart from the armour and the 2h sword, the other 2 items are shit), give them 12 Locked/Non sellable/Non tradeable loompoints.

With 12 loompoints they can have a fully +3 armour set (helmet, BDarmour, boots and gloves)


Also IMO, every new registered key, should have its first character start from level 35.

Most cRPG players get addicted by the thought of buildiing ur own character and leveling and gearing it up. If we give them a fully equiped char, what will they do? In my opinnion: Remove all the newcomer gifts, fucking bs. Give them 20K and a lvl 25 char

I agree on starting on 34th level with giving all available horses (to use or to sell, that will bring in more cavalry to servers), not 35, because it's retiring level.
I think that new players should be granted with 1 free loompoint which they could trade for gold (with current average loompoint price as minimum, to prevent abusing).

And, of course, the build guide on the c-rpg site in the 'Help' section is deeply needed for newbies.

yes. thats what made me keep playing lol. Fighting a GTX who has more agi and more str than me! Knowing you have a disadvange makes wins even better. If cmere and rekt erryone right from the beginning it will be boring for u.

New players; there have been various of them in the DTV-game-mode since Warband was on sales again.
With none of them having chances to be any successful in Battle. The thing is one plays until he has a high-tier +0 armour-set and then probably quits cause he knows nothing about retirement, loompoints and upgrading. I explained them many times.

Removing the start-items and replacing them with 12 or less loom-points and gold is for sure a better way. Never seen any of them using this stuff.
It might be nice leveling up his own character and such, but most still-active players got a fair amount of +3 items and game-experience; newbs get fucked.

Some new players guide that pop-ups on website would be the helpful too, cause I doubt they would check the forums for that.

ther eshould be a training mission for new players,and if they made it,theyll get their stuff.
like,they made the quest,and after this they have to anser which class they want to play and then they get a polearm loomed a 2h or whatever.

Someone should make a cRPG how to. Best would be a video, but actually it could work also when written down. I'll talk to dupre and ask if he would implement it if I would do it

siege is dead man, not the mod. I know it made the mod like 50000 times worse, but fuck it. still better than anything else

What the hell are you on about?

Most of the days there are at least 50~ players, mostly at evenings, playing battle and DTV.

Just because the most boring mode, Siege is dead, does not mean cRPG is also dead.

I suggest you siegers start playing some battle.

For a very long time, 50 had been the minimum acceptable number on the two major servers. Mostly it wouldn't even come to that. So, yeah, I rest my case.
