due to the fact that this tournament will have a shitton of prizes, I would not go for no eq restriction, only a ft1 and neither would I go without any weapon restrictions.

I mean like, u come on the server, u have a short lagspike and that fullplate tincan with a longmaul one hits u with a crush through.

Id like to have it like in the normal duel tournaments!

So, with:
-without crushthrough weapons
-eq restrictions to hero armor
-no knockdown weapons/if knockdowned u're not allowed to land a hit
- ft5/ft7

otherwise will this be pretty unspectacular. I mean like, who cares when there are 2 tincans just hiting and blocking for ages. or agi knockdown retards rekting enemies without even blocking once.

As I mentioned in my post ideas are welcomed and rules are still a subject for discussion. Might change them if majority won't like it.

Alrighty, well I'd rather see something like a first to 3 or first to 5 maybe.

If you kill someone, he's dead so best of 1 has it's explanation there. It's also what made Leshma vs Raz_Frenzy so spectacular.
You can always roll after knockdown so why would you forbid knockdown weapons?
Also long maul and great maul are pretty shitty duel weapons imho + high armour values put swords back in line with slower but more damaging weapons.

I say we leave the rules to the host of the tournament, let him decide.

Let's not spam this topic with suggestions about rules though, I think the previous topic in General Discussion could be a good place for that.
