The general douchy character of Uthred does annoy me at some level, but I watched to the end of season 1 still so it can't be that bad.

Now that season 2 is over, I can safely say it was one of my favorite seasons of any show. I thought 1 was decent and watchable, but 2 was a lot of fun, each episode was very interesting and the pacing was great.

Enjoyed watching it, skipped some annoying useless dialogues that were just placeholders to make it longer. Other than that and some horrible plot holes (couldn't be avoided looks like, quite expected when you try to inject such an important hero into story based on history) it's a decent TV show and I would recommend it to everyone who likes medieval setting.

also can the show spoonfeed information some more, why the fuck does he ride off with the random nun and the random dude we've seen once before at the end of season 1???
also I enjoy the fact that time passes so quickly but its a bit frustrating to hear uthred say "I loved you once" to his wife, forty minutes after they got married wtf???

Haha, I don't think this has to do as much with time passing so fast but Uthred is a bit of a playa see, how many wives/females has he lost? He replaces them within the same episode usually

One of my favorite shows, so much happens in each episode it feels like an entire season of another show. Uhtred is also a refreshingly and unapologetically bad ass character that the writers aren't trying to constantly undermine to show that Crime Don't Pay And Modern Morals Are Right.

It's very good. Had to look up the release date on this after going back to Vikings and trying to catch up. Bothered with 3 episodes into season 5 before I gave up. Just horrible.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. S4 has been a fucking snoozefest. Still have the last episode to go, since I'm just not interested. Uhtred has done absolutely nothing the entire season, just keeps getting captured. And hands over Mercia for no reason, when lording over it for a couple of years would've given him everything he wants.

Gonna rewatch S3 soon I guess, to cleanse my palate.

Yeah, definitely not nearly as good as previous seasons. I wouldn't call it Vikings-tier bad but it was pretty poor.
