With all honesty, gets a bit better midway, but still very disappointing after that first season, specially acting-wise.

Such a shame, the first season was a masterpiece and I'm not really a fan of tv series.

The Night Manager seems to be quite a thing. Tom Hiddleston is not as bad as I thought he is.

Nobody seems to be talking about Person of Interest. I am now halfway the first season and I must say that I really like it. The two main characters are great. There are a few things that collide with my preference for sensible realism, but it is made up for by the clever mix of an episodic set-up with continous hints toward a serialized storyline.

PoI is cringe fest, even more than Blacklist. At least Blacklist has ever so interesting James Spader.

You already partly answered that yourself. It is far fetched plot about super special agents who run private business and are able to do things on their own all American secret services aren't capable together. Caveziel's character is built like typical 80s action hero, except he's boring as hell. The other guy tries to be witty impersonating already mentioned James Spader. I'll rather watch La Femme Nikita from 90s, makes more sense.

Actually I know show that takes itself even more seriously than PoI which makes even more of a cringe fest. No it's not X-Files Season X... we don't talk about that anymore, ever again... it's Empire, gangsta show about music industry.

Maybe I'm too harsh, certain anime set the quality bar too high but shows like PoI make me laugh in a bad way. I'm more into light hearted shows with interesting plot and cool characters like Forever or Castle. Forever was such great thing to watch, always made me happy. Until assholes from Fox canceled it. Like going through that episode with Firefly wasn't bad enough already.

Edit: Took me awhile to remember of whom John Reese remind me the most. It's Steven Seagal, from Nico movies.

Just finished watching The Night Manager and really liked it. Even though there's quite a few logic gaps and questionable solutions.

Only thing I have to watch atm since all other series seasons ended.

Apart of Fear the Walking Crap which I'm only watching as I have nothing else to watch and not in the mood of starting a new series unless it's good.

AMC sux. :P the season premier for that was 2 weeks ago so they are making people wait 3 weeks for the 2nd episode.

Anyone watching Peaky Blinders? British gangster series set after WW1, apparently it's very good and I'm considering watching it.

Preachers quite solid. A lot has to do with the fact I have a really soft spot for Dominic Cooper. Nohomo I want to touch those gorgeous hair of his. Kinda suprise that after Breaking bad and beating that dead horse that is Walking dead and whatever that other Walking dead thing is, AMC managed to pull out another, sofar decent, series out of its sleeve.
