Can someone please tell me why I keep getting kicked when I join the DTV server?

It is a bug on the server - the devs know about it and are hopefully working on a fix.
In short - there is nothing you can do other than using another server.

if u cant survive till last wave server kicks u automatically. i dont know is it a bug or it works this way. if u try to join till u catch one of the first waves u can play.

It is not BUG it is game mechanic, if you die in 1-st or 2-nd wave you be kick from server, so other player can join to server

Please stop spreading misinformation - it was classified as a bug by cmpx:

Kick is a bug.
Will be fixed in the next hotfix, or before if servers get stealth-updated.

But if this wil be fix, many people just can't join servers, because now there are many leechers, who just die in 1-st peasant wave and go watch Tv and get gold and XP. And if they not be kicked no one can join and play. Reason fix it ?
You die in 1st or 2-nd wave go rest, and let other people play, or don't die, figth and you not be kicked. Kicking after die is fairly.

When we run DTV on our server it does not kick anyone.

IMO kick should stay. Otherwise if you die having x5, you can go watching pron\youtube videos, troll on facebook and mind yer other businesses - money and exp will still keep going.

So, all in all: kicking = less leechers.
