We Need Strat Battles - End the Drought

So I had a talk with my Chain of Command about the current state of strategus.. Apparently blackbirds numbers may be a bit exagerrated, and we believe this is all just a holding technique for us to slip up and sally out so they can strike in the darkness of night.

As such I would like to officially extend my sincerest regrets that we will not be able to play into your sly underhanded rogueish techniques of war...

Apparently the Art of War can be loaned out at any local library.

*spoiler alert*  We may be planning a silly strategus battle for the community.... Sure it would waste precious troops and gear but we'd like to support the community and end this drought sooner rather than later.

Donkeys, Monks, Rocks are going to be some of the main items (ya'll dig what weze throwin down?)  (Hobo wars!)

I'd just like to say *tears start forming in his eyes* - I love everyone crazy enough to play this aging game... it has been an honor and a priviledge to die at your hands people.

Why not just provide actual battles for the community instead of garbage XP battles that just waste time and resources? You could take the same silver and troops and attack a castle or something and provide for the game.

Field battles are boring as hell unless you're cav compared to sieges. If I wanted to do that I'd just join NA1.

I'm the only "true" active. The others require like a hour of prodding to get 1 troop transfer done. Hence why we haven't done shit. Plus mortal bro's are playing mortal.
