Bloodwych was released one year later both for the Atari ST and also for spectrum 128 (I had an Atari by then). The first 3D turn based RPG that I played and a great game.

I'm surprised that nobody mentioned Monkey Island...

Random google image from the curse of monkey island (the third and best one IMO) to remind you:

I never made it past the 4th stage without the internet ;_;

It has some pretty damn good music aswell:

Celtic tales: Balor of the Evil Eye - an old DOS game, a really addictive TBS/RPG game - collect and train heroes, unite the land through force or diplomacy and defeat the Fomors, all in very celtic spirit.

All games you mentioned above, a lot of other games and these two:

Deus Ex:
(click to show/hide)

LBA 1 and 2:
(click to show/hide)

If you haven't played these three games, then stop wasting your time and go play them, you lucky
bastards.

P.S. And Thief was an incredible game. Reminds me M&B so much in terms of combat system. Wish these two games could be combined somehow...

P.P.S. Inca 2 Viracocha
One of the most misterious games of all times.

All games you mentioned above, a lot of other games and these two:

Deus Ex:

...

In my opinion, Deus Ex was crap. Yeah i know people tell me that the story was great, but it has more holes than my noodle colander.
I mean, you are a federal agent and you were prepared your whole life to hunt terrorists, like your brother.
Then during a mission, one of the terrorists tell me "The government is the real evildoer." and my own brother adds "Yeah, he is right. Come and join the revolution." (I have allready found out, that the half of the organisation are double agent.)
And then i should really switch the sides, because of what facts?
Ok, there was a mission for some "evidence" but this was only a report from a third person.

And the bomb in the helicopter. A suspicious sound, a dead mechanic and another nervous one. Yeah that is so unsuspicious, there is no need to check your machine.

So basically it was a game with a crap storyline and some improved basic  FPS features.
