We already have this suggestion in past. Jarold even retexture skin parts.

The problem is that the skin on armors is not dynamic.  Your arms/knees/thighs/whatever else is visible would remain white even when playing a black character.

I don't know ... I play with this armors in Battle for Europe, they look pretty decent.
