Like ip 543.449.444.871 and unrealtistic scenarios.

It's kinda obvious they would not put a possible IP address in a TV show, same as with telephone numbers.

Yeah, someone could use it to do some actual harm to someone random who actually has that IP. Yeah right

My main gripe with show is they were almost authentic with all the hacking stuff, but not quite. Like those androids that looks so much alike humans but aren't quite. It actually bothers me more than CSI level of analyzing and zooming standard definition videos (zoom on that 15x15 license plate in the corner, yeah thats right I can now it see it clearly in all of its 1024x1024 glory ).

Can name two kinds of people. First are obviously junkies, because Elliot is one. Second are people who really feel like Elliot, are angsty at the social organization we are living in.

Linux part is put there so that majority of fucktards who use Windows crap believe that he is doing some real hacking and not just executing random terminal commands.

Scene where he debates with Tyler about Gnome and KDE is grade A cringe worthy.

Someone who's a black hat hacker at that level usually prefers Linux over Windows anyhow. Plus at Rotten Tomatoes and other review sites it has a pretty awesome rating/score. Anyhow in the end, I refer to this comment in my original post.

''And yes I'm aware some hipster, pessimist phaggots will dislike the series for whatever dumb made up reason but it's really great''

Im with xant on that one, Breaking bad was a great show overall, but Walter was never really relateable and sometimes he would just randomly be completely dumb and then sometimes he would be insanely clever. Also breaking bad had too many hateable characters it just went out of control.

Bump.

Season 2 is going on atm and is critically acclaimed once again on Rotten Tomatoes and other sites.

Bleh. Too much time spent on Elliots trips and daddy issues, not enough actual story. First 3 or 4 eps were pretty much just an internal fight with his dad, pretty boring.

Just finished watching the first episode. Man that was pretty good. Kind of on topic for me also since in the anime thread we were just talking about plots that may be delusional insanity trips. Although this show takes that kind of thing as a core concept. I love it and I'm imagining a Fight Club esque scenario right now. I also just love the guy Mr. Robot who just seems to exhibit what is cool. I'm gonna start binge watching this now, see you guys next week.

First episode was great. Then it all went downhill fast.

Not a great series imo. Defeinitely not the "best series ever"...

The Wire
The Killing
Stranger Things
Master of none
Orange is new black
Game of thrones
Vikings

and many more I could list are much better series imo.

Orange Is The New Black makes your list invalid just by listing it.

Vikings is complete trash and not up to par with some of the top HBO series.

Game Of Thrones I give you that. But the latter seasons aren't exactly as superb as the earlier ones.

The Wire ofc although it has a slow start.

The rest I don't really care about. Regardless, Mr Robot is about a young man living in this cyberpunk-esque world with problems that he's dealing with while being a slave to drugs. A Fight Club mixed with a hacker setting and some intense drama. It can't get better than that.

I really liked the 1st few episodes but I couldn't make even halfway through the 4th episode. I stopped watching after that.

This.

Will it get better? Should I keep watching?

Better, yes. Worth it, nope. Pilot episode is pinnacle of this show.
