Hopefully parkour and fighting actually do merge with themselves that fluently. Would be great...

I'm not sure if open-world is a good idea for this game, i just don't see them pulling it off well.

Sometimes companies do open world for the sake of open world when actually a more linear path would be better. It depends what scale they aim to do it but it could very quickly become boring and repetitive (think half the AC's) if they don't do it well.

Open world AC type is really bad. There really isnt anything(fun) to do in AC outside of missions(Black Flag not included). Make the world like in Dishonored and its epic. Flesh out the world so well that you dont even notice the borders and it actually feels exciting every time you take a different path to an objective. ACs only excuse to even be open world anymore, is so that you could notice the architecture. If you are that kind of tourist.

I think he's assuming Mirrors Edge is gonna be open world like Assassins Creed.

Not sure if thats the case though.
