Have to correct myself about collecting data...
This telemetry collection thing is bad. You can't turn it off unless you have the enterprise version. Otherwise "simple" is the 'lowest' option.
You can turn it off by editing the registry tho. But there are a lot of users who wouldn't nor shouldn't touch 'regedit'.

That's just bad. They're sending data about 'app' (I'll always call it program on a desktop pc) usage constantly. To monitor 'apps' performing and working properly. I don't want that.
I made big steps towards having a fully legit software setup but there are like 2 or 3 'apps' with a "different" licence. I don't want those monitored

Once it is installed, you can change hardware. You can't however, make hardware changes during the upgrade from 7/8 to 10.

Could you not upgrade to 10 then when you switch to the SSD just clone the hard drive?

Also I got a 1TB Samsung 850 Evo. Having a big SSD is amazing, game loading times just plummeted.

The point is, everyone is calling MS the devil and there's a shitstorm being raised by this scaremongering, whilst all that MS is doing is joining in on the whole personalized ads thing (and doing that mildly), that others have been doing for almost a decade now.
