Windows 10 rollout started...

I wonder if I should upgrade?
I've always been one of the first to try. I'm pretty curious.
And I kinda don't need my system in a productive way for the next couple of days...

So tempting.

When you do the In-System upgrade, the background download will store the files in c:\$windows.~BT
Download size is said to be somewhere around 4GB.

I'm going to do it. Reviews are good and it's been tested for a decent amount of time. Reserved my copy already so shall just wait for it to DL and upgrade. Will probably give it a go this weekend.

I'm going to be the guinea pig for my family and friends though. None of them want to do it until they've seen how it runs lol.

Don't you have like a year to upgrade for free? Might as well wait, its just an OS and windows 7 is fine. If you have 8 then maybe do it

Was using the preview (arr arr'd) and it felt much better than 8 and 7 (which were fine to me aswell); i think you should, not to mention dx 12 support p:

Got windows 10 this morning, everything is pretty good so far, everything carried over smoothly, no files lost.
Only problem so far is crpg now stutters a bit which is annoying, but I suppose updates will tackle things lie that soon
The new browser works well, nice and fast but overall very similar to chrome.

Made an USB-stick as upgrade device and using that way to upgrade right in this moment (checking for updates atm).
Haven't tried any of the previews, neither watched any of those videos. Going out on a limb now

Well, after some testing the temporary verdict:

Installation Progress is not the fastest but it's fully automatic and works.
Booting time improved for me a Little bit more than it already did with Windows 8.
All programs I have seem to work.
Only tried Witcher 3 yet and it runs as well as it did before the upgrade. I have the subjective Impression that it even gained a few fps. I'm probably wrong cuz I don't know any reason why it should.
The IE works like a charm. Quick loading of pages, no kickups while Scrolling Content heavy pages. Only the dictionary is not Setup for English yet, hence the weird capitals in here
Wifi Connection worked instantly.

Overall it runs very well and I like what I see. No Problems whatsoever. Guess I'll Keep it till I get a full Windows 10 key and can do a clean full install.
