The best thing you can do as a cav for your teammates is when you see a 5 vs 5, slow your horse down and walk near them.  3 or 4 of them will go to chase you as you slowly speed up.  Infantry go to walking cav like moths to a flame!

Problem I have with this is that I play EU1 (I'm EU player so that makes sense) and it has been 18 months since I saw a 5v5 infantry fight. It has been 3 weeks since I saw ANY cav at all that wasn't a horse Xbow, and sure that's probably coincidence since I don't play very much. Joined EU1 yesterday afternoon, a weekend: 30-40 players, I'm only cav except for 2 rounds a horseXbow, and 11 melee players.


11 was the high water mark. Now my experience probably isn't representative of everyone's, but 70-75% of entire server playing a ranged makes it hard to find how I'm supposed to test infantry chasing my horse since there ain't any to bait

Normally, when I see Zorak, I make it a point to kill him no matter what else is happening. Those fucking daggers and his high agi are annoying as fuck. Is it his fault that the build he uses is viable, nay, but it is his fault for playing that character. When I see him, I do my best to try and kill him.

Best thing cav usually does is look for a teammate who has 5 enemies attacking him then charge in missing everyone but his teammate.
