Ok definitely better playing with controller as opposed to keyboard, even though I'm horrible with handling a controller. Can't compare 0%/100% digital input to smooth transition between 0% and 100% when it comes to turning and gas pedal (since this is a game where you don't want to keep the gas pedal pushed in like a tard). I've fiddled a bit with sensitivity/linearity settings until I stopped wobbling on turn exits.

Reading all that controller crap is slowly giving me eye cancer. Want to press the gas pedal halfway? Press the gas pedal halfway x) There are entry steering wheel + 2 pedals kits for less than 100 euros new.

Would probably feel like driving a tractor, but here's a set for half the price you suggested you wouldn't spend. Not that I urge you to get it, I prefer mouse and keyboard in racing games, but that's just me.

Dude I'm a die hard mouse/keyboard fan but playing this game with a keyboard is like eating soup with a shovel

Well, can't judge that yet, as I am still downloading it, but I bet you're exaggerating

More like eating soup from a fountain that only works if you push your anus into a shovel at the same time.

100€ might be a lot of money for a lot of people but it sure ain't much for a steering wheel... I checked the prices yesterday and Holy Shit

Personally, I just feel that if I get one, I'd stop using it after a month. That would be a waste.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

Holy fuck Sweden is frustrating. It's incredibily hard to stabilize your car on that surface and then you have the narrowest track on the planet with deep snow that completely stops you or turns you completely once you even slightly touch it... at least the car damage is low because of that.

Sweden is EZ mode, there's just that one tight 4 following a line of bumps right into a tree that reks me every time. I think I do prefer the Finland stages because of visibility issues on snow though. Finland and Sweden are both really enjoyable because of the high speed.

Personally, I just feel that if I get one, I'd stop using it after a month. That would be a waste.

That is the risk indeed, but you have to consider it as a long term investment too. I originally bought mine to play Assetto Corsa a year ago and now I'm also playing Dirt Rally with it, so I get decent mileage and it's not like it's going to break or anything.

Tried one of the kit cars on a German stage. Those things are fast.

That's why I like the daily online stages.
You get to drive all different cars on a single stage and you even get 3k-10k credits for it.

Wait till you get into the Hyundai or the Polo WRC! D:

Just did the weekly in Sweden with the Kadett. I though the Stratos had stability issues but this thing just doesn't want to drive straight at all.
