Second: Any actual word on why the servers are down? Is it due to payment or technical problems host-side?

I heard ingame it's a problem host-side, not sure if it's a legitimate source, but would make sense since it ain't the first time. It's especially funny since last summer when we started to get an influx of players this shit happened too.
