Nordic War Sword... SLOW.

Hello, i've a Nordic War Sword +3, so with 100swing speed.
I've a build 21/22 (fu**ng level 37), with 7wm (171wp).
From the last patch, i feel that this sword is more slow.

An admin can give me mor info about it?
Ah.. i've a ping of 23/24ms and my pc is good (im a programmer and a pc builder: NO VIRUS, NO SHIT).

I don't think they reduced wpf or something, but I think they reduced running speed, and that's something really important for a shielder if you know how to play the game you should move with ur sword and if you move slower - u hit slower.

Do you have any Ironflesh? Low iron flesh gives a penalty to WPF (not sure how much) And gloves are 6x their weight in WPF reduction I believe. The patch we reverted from didn't have as large penalties I believe for either

IF affects wpf? What kind of joke is this? All these "hidden" balance things need to go. I want to run fast and swing fast and die in 1 hit. Why force me to get IF which really does close to nothing on high agi builds. Man that sucks :/

It only affects wpf if you wear armor. If you want to run fast you don't wear armor - so no problem there.

that's why If is str based. Full plates need it for walking/swinging faster.

It's been in the patch notes atleast. And you will still be way faster than everything with pure agi AFAIK.

IMO higher IF should get you more wpf penalty and plate should give you more armor/glancing, just saying

lol no that would be totally shit. Atm it's allready hard for agi builds to kill tincans, what would happen if we would be come slower and than getting even more armor - glancing.

A tincan would be just in front of a agi player and the tincan would get glanced to the death.

But what I think what should be removed is that when someone does not deal any dmg but stops ur block/hit by a totally shitty hit. If there was nothing like that tincans would be EVEN more op, cuz atm I think agi builds are more effective^^

Very slow animation for a 1h shielder... People with 5/6 wm and heavy armor can spam like me. Its not possible to play in this way.

Less damage, more weight with shield, less range.. And now also slow. Nice
2h animation is fast also without wm... Cmon guys, stop this shit.

I would suggest you 27:18

The only problem with this build is: You can't run away.

But you deal much dmg, u can tank much dmg and you're still fast in hitting 'nshit

Oh and the highest amount of ppl I killed in one round is 9 I think. But in this round I did 78 points as a str inf with a morningstar on that steppe map without any houses
But in WFAS I allready killed 13 pupblics in a 1 vs 13. They were 90 %ly good players

Yea.. It would be nice if there was a sticky somewhere that explained all factors effecting wpf, movement speed and damage.  One that even a layperson such as myself could understand.
