The most hated Europeans helping the supposedly most hated nation on Earth more like it.
Nothing surprising though. The Romans weren't loved everywhere around the world. I bet the Carthaginians and Parthians didn't like them. And i can bet 1000 of bucks the Brits weren't liked either.
When you're the top dog you're bound to get mean looks and envy hate.
At this time, the French were indeed hated, even before the Napoleonic wars. The funny fact is that, if you ask anyone which occidental country they hate the most, they might as well go again with France or Germany, but it doesn't even come close of the hate for USA that is felt in any kind of middle east country/eastern Europe, and generally in any country where irremediable damages were made by the USA.
