First Person Only Server.

Title explains the purpose of this thread. I have always wanted first person only servers for Mount And Blade. I also want them in your new game. I think it would make the game a little more interesting and also the roleplaying would be great.

1st person is pretty hectic in group fighting but 1vs1 it's not so bad.

pretty sure ras frenzy plays first person, its actually super fun if you turn all the HUD off and also remove friendly markers. super immersive

its alot easier on siege but I guess thats dead now. and its fun to play but it isnt very effective. best bet is to take a shield

I played it for a while on siege with an espada and 10 ath (10-30 build lvl 30 back in the old day), that stab is really intense and fun in first person and you really feel when you can rush and do it for max speed. You will get killed a lot, but that's the point of siege!

1st person is the only way to go,  so much more fun   specially with that weird hud speed setting,  dont have the name at hand atm.  it widens your view and lets periphery move a lot faster.

you mean the FoV (Field of View) aka "Quake Fisheye Cam", got that up to 90 since I gotta keep an eye on my surroundings while reloading

but Saxon...you say he plays 1st person all the time? Oo
I mean it´s surely great for dueling, but you probably loose your overview in crowd fights...

First person is the best way to play lancer cav (or ranged classes obviously).  But trying to play melee in first person in Warband doesn't work very well.  Some other games handled it better, but the view doesn't work very well in Warband.

It would be fun to have a first person only server for M:BG, also no hud indicators would be cool too.  You would need to have people's armor somewhat uniform however to distinguish friendly from foe.
