Your main (if you refer to your strat hero) does not have a free respec iIrc. It still takes 20% or so from you (Dunno the exact number)

If you wish to respec your main, either make some other character your main or buy training lessons.

Oh I thought if u respec ur skf u can't use the free respec on ur non-main accs. Sry I sort of missunderstood u there :O

Well whenever I have used a respec on a STF I notice it resets the timer on my main

I cant share this, i can respec my STF as often as i want and it doesnt reset the timer for the respecs on my other characters
