Well, if you check player bases of other multiplayer mods you'll find out crpg is still the biggest one. As for singleplayer mods, people playing it don't really visit their modDB pages after downloading latest version.

Even terrible mods like PW, and NW which used to be a mod, are more active.  Where the fuck is the successor to crpg?  This is starting to turn into a Bannerlord situation where dev updates cease and nobody knows what the fuck is going on

Actually, this shitbrick of a cRPG clone called Mercenaries beats cRPG in population mostly now http://www.mbmerc.com/?q=servers

Guess that disproves the claim that cRPG mod died because it is bad, because the design in Mercenaries is all around terrible. Only fun thing is that many players suck as if it is cRPG 2011.

I also animated those flags that zimke made back in February:

For now they will be these simple (But simulated) looping animations. But eventually we want to have a more advanced system, perhaps incorporating wind direction and strength, and a very different way of animating them.

And they will of course not be all waving in sync like there. That's just from Blender as a test presentation. It works in game, but not imported yet though.
