problem with ping EU servers

Bad servers. You aren't the only one being hit by this. Some people get 100 instead of 50, some get 50 instead of 20, etc...

There's nothing you can do, except praying for a patch/server restart that isn't likely going to come.

Server provider chadz uses has some conflict with many ISP and that results in routing issues which means that one day you have your normal ping, in my case is 32-33, and another day it goes up to 47 for no good reason. This happens only in CRPG, on official servers. Never happened on HRE or any other unofficial server in the past.

Actually, since I started playing this mod EU server were broken and people were forced to play on Pecores. Which means EU server issue date back to 2010 and were never resolved or improved. Hopefully M:BG won't use same server provider, because if it does, RIP M:BG.

Edit: Roughly the same time I wrote this post my ping went from today's 33 to current 50

It's not about the balance this time. It's not about the shitton of crossbowmen/archers there are on EU1. It's not even about 2h. It's about having 4 times the usual ping when there are 70 players on EU1. Fuck this game, clearly.

Ping in the server page is wrong for small connexion.

When you go on this page, the game download all the servers informations and make your ping high if you have a small connexion and the result is a wrong ping. If you want to know your real ping, you must connect on the server and see your ping in the score page.

Of course not lol, who told you that? Never happened in native and only servers that show crazy high ping while they shouldn't are cRPG EU servers.

Got upgraded to 25 mbit connection, still shitty ping and lag.

Nobody told me that, it's from my personnal experience. I have a 1.20Mb connexion and it's what happening to me. 130 to 250 ping in server page, 30 ping in game.

I don't say that the server have no ping problems, i just say that you should not just test it on the server page, that's all.

Also ask Oberyn about his issues. He has 150 (NA) ping on EU servers for last couple of days. Why? Who knows. Routing issues probably, but it seems to affect only certain ISP and countries. Never seen German player with those issues.

Edit: I don't expect to see those issues fixed because I don't think problem is on your part or Warbands. This is fault of server provider. And because of that, this server cannot stay for M:BG. Server provider HRE and SeaRiders used for their own server never had similar issues.

Of course there are other servers with issues. Native populated server neo*GK has different set of issues, it spikes like crazy but that is because it is located in Turkey and Turkish internet is wank.

Seems to be hitting a lot of french people. Also 150 ping on EU1 when I usually have around 50-60, more than the 130 I get on NA. Apparently someone checked the routing with their ISP and there was nothing untoward there. No idea what could be causing it.
